Our team visited each of the participating businesses and noted all the ways in which they were already operating responsibly, and identified areas with room for improvement. This helped us to get a “before” picture. At the end of the project, we will give you the “after” picture hopefully showing how the changes made in the business resulted in cost savings and a better experience.

Below you will find the things we were looking for when we first visited each business, categorized into different areas of environmental responsibility. The icons for each category were provided by Eco Atlas, our project partners. The Eco Atlas directory helps tourism businesses to communicate  their responsible tourism journey.
